Director Drew McFarlane established the company in 1972 and has overseen its growth and development over the years. He has dedicated his life to developing the quality, service and reputation of Craigmarloch Nurseries. Drew retired in December 2010, after over 40 years in business, but continues to pop in and out each day to offer advice and guidance.

As Managing Director, Grant is responsible for the strategic development and growth of the business and overseas many aspects of the business. Grant worked with Drew to help establish Craigmarloch and was pivotal to the development of the business to the new site. Grant’s focus is on providing the framework for successful trading by sourcing the best quality products available without compromise.

Kenny joined Craigmarloch in 2009 after leaving KPMG where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant. Kenny’s main responsbilities centre around the financial management of the business and to work with Grant in the strategic expansion of the company. Kenny and Grant are step brothers who have a strong working relationship and are determinded to continue and develop the business from Drew.

Grant is the Nursery Manager at Craigmarloch and is responsible for the day to day operation of the Nursery. Grant joined Craigmarloch in 1998 and oversees all aspects including staffing, despatch and site operations. Grant is fundamental in the smooth day to day running of the Nursery and is always available to help.

Lorna is Craigmarloch’s cash and carry manager and ensures the smooth running of the company’s cash and carry. Lorna is also responsible for public sector quotations and direct landscaper pricing. Lorna joined Craigmarloch in 2004 and has development into a key member of staff. Lorna has a wealth of horticultural experience and knowledge and prides herself on sourcing the best quality products.

Colin joined Craigmarloch in 2006 and is responsible for landscape and amenity sales. Colin also specialises in looking after the companies specimen plants and working with landscapers and landscape architects to ensure they find the correct product they require for their contracts and projects. Colin is the ideal man to talk to for your landscape project.

Chris started at Craigmarloch as a part time weekend worker in 1996 and has developed within the company. Chris is responsible for preparing weekly sales availability lists and customer service to ensure all customers receive the best possible service. Chris has worked in a number of roles in the business and therefore has complete understanding of Craigmarloch.
